"Create new Robot Project" fails to complete.

Hey Phil,

Sorry for the delay, I am on the road at quick build events.  We haven't gotten any useful clues from the crash dumps or our efforts on Windows 8 in office.  From the crash logs I don't think the issue is just with the addon components but something with LabVIEW itself.  I think if you want to try a reinstall (which unfortunately I can't think of a better plan right now) it would be best to uninstall LabVIEW and its components and modules using add/remove programs.  I wouldn't do the delete the folder method- it is usually better to let the installers clean themselves up.

Well,

I finally got LabVIEW uninstalled and re-installed...

The good news is that I can now build and open robot projects.

The bad news is it too a week and I still don't know what went wrong the first time.

Now I'm just waiting to see what I broke doing the re-install.

Get a life? This IS my life!

Ya, I am glad its working but I don't feel any closer to understanding why it failed initially.  As always - let us know if you run into anything else.

Kevin
