Hello,everyone
I am using the NI PCI-5112 to acquire the data. Today I made a mistake and set the external trigger of 5112 to 30kHz which is larger than 10kHz on the specification. I also got the data and the program did not warn me. I searched on the ni website and found on this webpage
http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/370592E-01/digitizers/5112_trigger_holdoff/
"100 μs is the minimum value that can be specified for holdoff; setting a smaller value has no effect."
Does it means the real trigger rate is still 10kHz for a 30kHz external trigger?
Thanks

Hi Zengguangq,
Based on the information in the help file and data sheet, you are correct. Inputing a trigger rate greater than 10kHz will have the same effect as a 10kHz trigger.
