NI MAX Bus Monitor-% used ?

Is it possible to display the % of Bus being used in the NI-MAX ?

I'm trying to create a situation for High BUS load and I would like to see what percentage of the BUS is being used.

With the NI-MAX using the BUSMonitor program -Bus Statistics only gives Frames/second.

Any ideas how I can monitor the Bus load?

The bus load percentage should be shown at the top-right of the bus monitor window.

            I Cannot see the Bus-Load option on the MAX I'm using.I'm using Version 4.0.0.3010 for the MAX.

The screenshot is from MAX 4.5. Your version is no longer installed on my machine.

Hello,

You should upgrade your version of NI-CAN, this will also upgrade your version of MAX.

Once the upgrade is complete you should now see the Busload percentage whenever you open the NI-CAN Bus Monitor.

Hello Christina,

                         I was checking with another PC that has a different version of the NI software and yes it shows the bus load.It has  NI-CAN (version 2.5.2f0) and my pc has 2.3.1f1.

Can I  upgrade to 2.5.2f0 free of cost ? Where can I find the newest software on the Ni website?

Hello,

You can download the drivers free of charge from our website.

Please goto our main page www.ni.com

Click on Support and Community, then Drivers and Updates

In the search within results field type in CAN, 

now you can download the driver and install, you will need to sign up for an NI.com profile before you can download any drivers.

Hello,

I have a simular problem and that means that via the Busmonitor application I also do not see any busload indication anymore.

It has worked, but at some place in time it stopped working.

I re-installed the latest MAX software but nothing helped... It is very important for my work, so can you please help me?
