Need to know what ConsumeBefore.vi used to do

Hi All,

I am updating an older LabVIEW application that used IIOA.llb. One of the VIs in that LLB was ConsumeBefore.vi. Does anyone have a copy of the IIOA.llb, a copy of the ConsumeBefore.vi, or can describe what the VI is supposed to do? It looks like some sort of string parser but I am hoping to avoid trial and error. Thank you for your time.
