Error 2519 LabVIEW could not load the TDMS file component

Solved!

This is the expected behavior. The 2 folders are for 32-bit and 64-bit.

Hi Chithanhvn!

Those TDMS folders are supposed to be there. But I had a third folder in C:\users\[me]\AppData\Roaming\National Instrument that may have caused problems (When I whiped it and re-installed, things worked).

Beware though: if your windows is in another language (like I had), you wont see these folders in your windows explorer.

You can however type it in in the adress field, you'll find it there.

Hope it helps, good luck!

I am having similar issues and results.  I have repaired installation on LV and TDMS.  I have not started a clean machine build.

Runnning 32-bit LabVIEW (15.0f2)

Has 32-bit TDMS library (15.0.0.49152 file version; 15.0.0f0 product version)

What was the "app" folder that you cleared before success?

You don't need to clear the directory before installation. You only need to install the latest TDMS component, from this link:

I tried that installer, twice. I have verified the labview version and TDMS versions were consistent. And I have repaired both LV & TDMS installation. Is there an install log that can tell me what might not be correct

Alright, so please check which bitness of LabVIEW you are using, 32-bit or 64-bit?

If 32-bit, TDMS component should be in C:\Program Files (x86)\National Instruments\Shared\TDMS folder. If 64-bit, it should be in C:\Program Files\National Instruments\Shared\TDMS folder.

Correct: 32 bit LV ( x86 folder) with 32 bit version of TDMS dll.

Then it looks a little bit weird. Maybe you can try to clear that directory before installation, and make sure TDMS component appears again in the directory after the installation.
