I want to carry out an impact test via the Impact Test (DAQmx) application with the LabVIEW Sound and Vibration Toolkit. I have my impact hammer connected to the first channel of my NiDAQ and my accelerometer to the second channel.
Now that I have connected my input and output to my DAQ, I am not sure which 'channel type (EU)' I have to select for my impact hammer and for my accelerometer. For example is my channel connected to my impact hammer just a 'Voltage (V)' or is it a 'Force (N)' or is a 'Acceleration (g) - IEPE' channel type? And do I have to insert the sensitivity in standard SI units [V/(m/s^2)] or in [V/g} for example. I have the same question for my impact hammer.
