USB 6211 and DAQMX base

Hi,

I'm trying to get a USB 6211 device running on Linux (Centos 6.4). Lsdaq

(mxbase 3.7) lists the device, nidatalogger works, but I can't create a task.

mxbaseconfig has the "ok" button grayed out. Searching on the net, it seems I

need to switch the firmware, but this may only apply to some older cards.

Thanks for help

Marc

Hi,

I think utility mxbaseconfig works only for some types of NI DAQ card (read reame file). In my case I occured the same grayed button (button can't get a focus) for PCI-6250 (M-series DAQ card).

You can create a task in Labview on block diagram and wire it with DAQ channel.

you are right, the readme doesn't mention the sentence "Supported in NI-DAQmx Base Task Configuration Utility" under the M-Series 621x device support, which probably means that it is not supported.

Yes, I used "Create Task/Clear Task" to create/destroy a task and "Create Channel" to configure it. Seems to work.

Thanks for the quick answer!
