LabVIEW Toolkit for LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT

A new toolkit to program LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT is available. With this toolkit you can use VIs in LabVIEW to program and control LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT and also develop native blocks that plug into the MINDSTORMS NXT software.

There are some interesting reviews on blogs of the toolkit from developers that aren't what some might consider traditional LabVIEW developers but are using LabVIEW for the first time to control MINDSTORMS NXT. yes & no... on that one..

The Lego Mindstorms NXT can be also be used for fun (hobby).  I hope to invest in one of those in 2007.  I like robotics..  and microcontrollers..  So this should be fun to work with. 

I have to look around to see if people discussed their fun projects with it & Labview (there are lots of projects on the Internet!!).
