roboRIO v1 Format failed, target is now unreachable

While attempting to format roboRIO with FRC_roboRIO_2022_v4.0, formatting failed with error "corrupt firmware; can not run". Attempted firmware 'upgrade' to solve issue (reinstalling firmware 8.0.0.cfg). Firmware upgrade failed with error 'lost comunication with roboRIO'. Status lights indicate that roboRIO completes its boot sequence normally, but roboRIO is no longer reachable by any means. Attempts to connect with SSH or web browser fail, and roboRIO Imaging Tool no longer finds the RIO.

For anyone reading this thread later, the next step I'd try after getting that message is to go into Safe Mode (hold the RESET button for about 10 seconds) and try to image from there.  I wouldn't update the firmware.

For you, I've sent you a message with the instructions to restore the roboRIO to factory settings and that should get you into a state where you can move forward 😃

FYI, I omitted saying that we did try to image in Safe Mode with no success.  I thought that was a given.
